Page Six Writer Involved in Scandalous Gossip
Jared Paul Stern, a freelancer for the New York Post's infamous Page Six column is being investigated by the feds for possible charges of extortion. They suspect that he may have tried to strongarm Ron Burkle, a rich businessman, into paying him $100,000 plus $10,000 annually.
In return for the money, Stern allegedly promised not to trash talk the man in the gossip pages. Stern is now fighting back claiming that he was framed and that Burkle initiated all the money talk. Who do you think the feds are going to believe?
