Paris Hilton and Stavros Niarchos Split

Paris Hilton and Stavros Niarchos were taking a break and are now officially calling it quits. Paris' PR people confirmed that the couple are no longer an item, but gave no reason for the breakup. In an interview on The Ellen Degeneres Show on Monday, Paris, 25, said that she really likes American guys.

Was that a direct slap in the face to her Greek shipping heir Stavros? Stavros, 21, was previously linked to Mary-Kate Olsen, whom he allegedly left to be with Hilton. In the past, Paris has said that she hoped to be married with kids before she turned 25. Short of finding a time machine, it sounds like she might be behind schedule on those plans.
