Nicole Richie is Dating Brody Jenner

Nicole Richie is taking a break from her recurrent splits with DJ AM and is dating Brody Jenner. There's a bit of good news and bad news to be had in this situation. The good news is that Nicole, 24, and Brody, 23, have known each other since they were little kids on the playground.

"I was there when (Brody) was born! They grew up together...they're having a wonderful time. He's a great kid," Nicole's dad, Lionel Richie told People magazine. The bad news? Brody Jenner very recently split from Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari for the second time around.

You may remember Kristin and her 15 minutes of fame when she dated Nick Lachey for a couple of pointless days a few months back. Does this mean we'll be seeing Kristin on the arm of DJ AM sometime in the near future?
