Paris Hilton Arrested for Possible DUI

According to Los Angeles Police, Paris Hilton was arrested in Hollywood yesterday for a possible DUI. Paris was pulled over just before 12:30 a.m. when an officer noticed that she was driving her Mercedes-Benz erratically. Paris will do just about anything to stay in the spotlight these days, but this is a bit much. Officer Martha Garcia told People magazine that Paris took a Breathalyzer test showing her blood-alcohol level at 0.08 percent, the minimum to qualify for an arrest in California.

Since the heiress is taking a much needed break from men for the time being, her sister Nicky and Nicky’s love, Kevin Connolly came to her rescue and brought her home. Yesterday morning, Paris called in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show and made a pathetic attempt to explain the whole thing away:

"Um, I had one margarita, starving 'cause I had not ate all day, on my way to In-n-Out which is probably three blocks away, and I'm in my (Mercedes) SLR, which is a little fast, so maybe I was speeding a little bit, (insert her giggles here) and I got pulled over."

Paris claimed that the whole thing was just done to make a statement in front of the surrounding paparazzi. "Everything I do is blown out of proportion. It really hurts my feelings," she said. Aw, poor party girl doesn’t like it when people report those mean stories, even if they almost always turn out to be true.
