Katie Holmes Chooses Her Wedding Dress

Katie Holmes and her new BFF Victoria "Posh" Beckham went on a recent shopping trip to Paris and it looks like the future Mrs. Tom Cruise may have just found the perfect wedding dress. Tom Cruise famously proposed to Katie back in June of 2005 atop the Eiffel Tower, so Paris will always hold a special place in her heart. I'm not certain which piece of information strikes me as being the most odd in this story. Is it the fact that Katie and Posh are suddenly best friends overnight? Or is it that the fiance of a mega-millionaire Hollywood star has to 'shop around' for her wedding dress? Why wouldn't she just snap her little fingers and have a one-of-a-kind dress handcrafted especially for her? Does the wacky Tom Cruise no longer have that kind of pull in the fashion world?

That doesn’t mean they will ever get married. Tom has been avoiding marrying her and even if he does, the pre-nup will be insane!
