According to the Associated Press, country singer Keith Urban has decided to check himself into rehab for alcohol abuse. It wasn't even four months ago that the Grammy winner and actress Nicole Kidman tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Australia. "I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me," Keith said in a statement.
Rumors swirled before his marriage to Nicole that his addiction may have surfaced again, but he discredited the reports and truly believed that he could handle it himself. He is certainly no stranger to the evils of drugs and alcohol as he has often spoken of his addiction to cocaine in the past. Keith, 39, has a new album coming out, aptly titled "Love, Pain, & the Whole Crazy Thing" in a few weeks, but will not be doing any promotional touring. Here's hoping that his current stint in rehab helps him kick the habit for good.

There is no cure for addiction. It is an ongoing recovery with daily struggles. Addiction can only be dealt with one day at a time, as it is said. There is no magic cure. The most we can wish Keith is our best hopes for his future and God speed.
Best wishes Keith in your recovery…I’ll lay bets that this is one marriage that will probably go out the window…A shame..But Nicole knew what she was getting into…i’ll betcha Tom is going to have alot to say about this and that his children are not to be around Keith….

Well, here it is 2011 and they are still going strong! What a wonderful couple and wonderful role model for any marriage. They have a beautiful family now and much success! I just saw Keith Urban in concert and I can honestly say it was the best concert I have ever been to. Can’t wait to see him again! Cheryl, you should keep your negativity to yourself.
