Nicole Richie Wants to Gain Some Weight

Sunday October 29, 2006
According to People magazine, Nicole Richie has agreed to go for medical testing so that she can finally stop looking like a skeleton before Halloween even rolls around. Apparently, Nicole is just baffled by her strange inability to put on weight.

"Nicole Richie has decided to undergo diagnostic treatment to determine why she's not been putting on any weight. She is working with a team of doctors and specialists whose focus is nutrition. It is important to Nicole that she achieves this goal in a healthy way as this is not a treatment for an eating disorder," her rep told the magazine.

Listen, I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on TV, but I think I've got this medical mystery figured out. Nicole is not gaining any weight because she's not eating any food. Case closed.

Nicole is definitely in trouble…whether it is anorexia or drugs or a combination of both! Many times there is a combination…I think it is called “transfer addiction(s)”? Most times, the individual will deny, deny, deny the “addiction”. The denial issues play major roles…which is why many times the anorexia (or drug addiction) go unchecked for way, way too long. Denial and Distortion are major “players” in both …Anorexia and drug addiction.
