Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe Split

People magazine has confirmed that Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe have officially separated. After seven years of marriage and two adorable children, Reese, 30, and Ryan, 32, are calling it quits on their marriage. "We are saddened to announce that Reese and Ryan have decided to formally separate. They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time," said a rep for the couple in a statement released today.The famous couple have two children together, daughter Ava, 7, and son Deacon, 3. Reese has often commented on how their celebrity marriage was never perfect but they somehow always made it work. The rumor mills speculated for years that the relationship was in trouble, but the couple always denied the chatter. Now it looks like the gossip hounds may actually have been on to something.

Oh, no! How sad. I really thought Reese and Ryan would make it. I haven’t been so sad about a Hollywood breakup since Brad and Jen. Oh, well!
It’s always sad in a divorce when children are involved. Children are always the one’s who suffer the most because mommy and daddy are no longer together. I hope that the couple can remain civil with each other and continue making their kids life great!
They were a lovely couple and it is dissapointing that they couldn’t figure it out. Hollywood puts so much pressure on stars and it’s hard enough to make it work without all the media attention. I just hope there wasn’t any infidelity..
