Paris Hilton never struck me as the brightest star in the sky, but she has now become delusional about her so-called acting career. Paris, who is on track to be the next Tara Reid (aka washed up party girl without an education), is crazy enough to think that she might ever have a star of her own on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Unfortunately, the only 'movie' that Paris is even recognized for is that raunchy sex tape released by her ex boyfriend. If Paris actually thinks that she is in the same league as actors with stars on the boulevard such as Katherine Hepburn, Tom Cruise, and Robin Williams, she is out of her empty mind.

I always knew that Paris Hilton had a huge ego, but this is beyond laughable. Well, not really, it’s quite funny! But I guess she thinks that since money has bought her everthing else, it can buy her this. Maybe she can get a star on “The Walk of Shame” instead?

People mistake the Hollywood Walk of Fame for a list of the great actors and actresses, however, it’s a list of famous celebrities (e.g., Donald Trump recently received a star on the Walk of Fame). Pee-wee Herman has a star, too! Even imaginary characters, such as Big Bird, have a star! In this age when we are turning anyone who is rich into a celebrity, why not a girl who has a rich daddy who is constantly in the spotlight (albeit, not always for the most savory of reasons)? I’m not advocating that she receive a star now; but, if in another 20 years people still care about Paris, then maybe she should be considered for a star. But I would consider giving Michael Jordan (because Magic Johnson and Terry Bradshaw already have a star) a star on the Walk before Paris Hilton.
