Melanie Brown Knows Eddie Murphy is the Father of Her Baby

Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown is said to be devastated over the the statement by Eddie Murphy that he may not be her baby's father. In a recent interview, Eddie, 45, quipped at a reporter that he and Melanie, 31, are no longer together and without a blood test, people shouldn't jump to conclusions.

"I am obviously upset and distressed at some of the comments made by Eddie Murphy to the media. I was astonished at what Eddie said, there is absolutely no question that he is the father," she said in a statement released yesterday. To add insult to injury, Eddie showed up at the NY premiere of his new movie Dreamgirls that evening with his new flame, Tracey Edmonds. Good luck to Eddie when those paternity tests show up and the boomerang comes back to hit him in the face.
