Will Donald Trump Fire Miss USA Tara Conner?

Saturday December 16, 2006
Donald Trump may decide to fire the reigning Miss USA, Tara Conner, sometime next week. The Donald, who is a co-owner of the Miss Universe Organization, is said to be very concerned with Tara's recent late-night partying. Tara, 20, hails from Kentucky and apparently forgot that she is expected to serve as a positive role model to young women.

Understandably, Donald doesn't find her partying and underage drinking to fit the job description as well as he would have liked. What about Miss Lindsay Lohan? Doesn't anyone find it odd that she's underage and currently in Alcoholics Anonymous? If the organization does vote to take away Tara's crown, I'm sure that the runner-up Miss California would be more than happy to take that throne.

I never though Tara Connor was a good fit for the Miss USA crown….it was always a gut feeling. In my mind, Miss California, Tamiko Nash was always Miss USA….the crown was hers all along.

First off,Tara Conner should not be in the ”bar scene” at all. bad example, bad decision making for someone who is to be an example for our young female to follow. second,I love that Donald Trump attacks these type of negative issues and seeks to ”fix” the situation . Miss America is just that ,not ”Miss Drunken America”,the sign of a true Commander, take charge! It is what keeps sanctity a part of the crown.BRAVO TRUMP!

Anthony, I agree with you but you must know Miss America and Miss USA are two completely different organizaions.

I totally agree! Tara won because she was the best looking and Trump feels that beauty pageants should be just that–based on beauty and not academics, which was what was happening and explains why the contestants from the past few years have been more homely. I was shocked that someone from a community college had won, usually the winners are more accomplished than that, but oh well. Trump has had a good learning experience with this one and will hopefully look for a little more substance from the next winner.

So…TRUMP, himself, is some kind of ROLE MODEL of personal behavior? Pulllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzz!
Multi-divorced, womanizing, floozie-chasing, golddigger-flashing, pompadour-faking Trump is a paragon? No, just say “No!” to that one. My guess is that Tara didn’t ‘come across’, Clinton-style, for the egomaniac.

She is doing what almost everyone her age does. People think she should have a “Betty Crocker” life style, the sexist view of the American Housewife from the 1950’s

Shouldn’t have given a second chance, in few months we will see a repeat. Now Tara has even more pressure and she is too young to handle it. Feel sorry for Miss CA–she was more deserving.

NO excuses for Miss America. No second chance. They didn’t give Vanessa Williams one?
