Heather Mills Denies Settlement Report of $60 Million

Reports surfaced yesterday in News of the World claiming that Heather Mills and former Beatle Paul McCartney had finally reached a settlement decision in their ongoing divorce battle. The media has been going nuts today with updates that single mom Heather had settled for $63 million to basically stop talking and go away.

Now lawyers for Heather, who is being called a gold-digger, are denying the news. "With regard to the article in yesterday's News of the World, we would like to state that there has been no offer made whatsoever at any time to our client and therefore no settlement has been agreed," her lawyers said.

It sounds to me like she was less than pleased with the original offer of $63 million and has decided to hold out for even more. If she does walk away with that amount, according to my calculations, she would have made $2,000 for each hour of marriage to Sir Paul. Not a bad gig if you ask me.
