Angelina Jolie Files Adoption Papers in Vietnam

Friday March 2, 2007
Angelina Jolie has filed the necessary papers to adopt another baby, this time in Vietnam, according to People magazine. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt already have three children together and now they're ready to expand again. Maddox, 5, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 9 months, will have to compete for their parents attention as another Jolie-Pitt baby is on the way.

Angelina, 31, and Brad, 43, spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Vietnam on a tour of Ho Chi Minh City and must have felt so connected that they decided to adopt a child from there. I can't even imagine what Brad's ex, Jennifer Aniston, must be feeling about all of this. While she may be happy for Brad, I imagine Jen still has daggers for Angelina. I'll bet they're pretty sharp too.

Adopting children isn’t like shopping for shoes Angelina! There should be a law (or in her case a grace period) that makes you wait a certain amount of time between adoptions or births. She has said so herself that she doesn’t feel for her own daughter like she does for her adopted children. Maybe she should develop a good relationship with her own blood before continuing to adopt forgein kids. These kids will be very screwed up. Poor Shiloh.

It seems that if Angelina is as exhausted as the tabloids let on, and as devastated about her mother’s very recent death as she appears to be, she should definitely NOT even consider adopting another child. She doesn’t feel love for her own biological child the same as she does for her adopted children–that doesn’t say much about her character–no matter what her status as a goodwill ambassador or how much money she has. Her children will be the ones to suffer because of her selfish need to be seen as a savior of unwanted children. Do these countries check mental capacity of adoptive parents?? Remember, this is a woman who wore a vial of blood around her neck and appeared to tongue kiss her own brother at an awards show!! Not the perfect mother she tries to appear to be??

I agree with the comments…..she needs to take a good look at herself and realize that adopting is about family and giving love…she cannot do that for her own child….so why keep expanding..money does not solve the absence of love…..

Who cares what Jennifer Aniston thinks of Brad and Angelina’s family? Brad and Jen are OVER, so everyone else needs to get over it too. Angelina has never appeared to be stuck in the “normal” category of Hollywood, but that’s what makes her so special. How can anyone who doesn’t know these celebrities personally say that they don’t love their children, adopted or not? I applaud them for wanting to raise their children with the true and simple notion that they are citizens of the WORLD, not just one society, country, or culture. They should be praised for all of the good they do for these foreign orphans, who by the way, have a much harder life than orphans in the U.S. It’s easier for some people to sit back and judge them harshly, rather than look at themselves and wonder what good they have done for someone who wasn’t a friend or relative. You don’t have to be rich to care, but if you have the money and you are using it to help others, then that is divine in itself.
