Actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers Checks Into Rehab

Following in the wobbly footsteps of so many who came before him, Jonathan Rhys Meyers has checked himself into rehab, according to People magazine. Jonathan, 29, joins the growing ranks of actors and musicians who have fallen prey to the bottle. The recent list is quite long, but off the top of my head we have Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, hottie Jesse Metcalfe, and even Robin Williams.

The party hopping actor, who is currently playing Henry VIII in The Tudors, has worked hard to deny the constant allegations that he might be gay. He and Reena Hammer even went as far as to grace us with a public make out fest chronicled by Page Six earlier this month. Whatever team he decides to play for is ultimately up to him, and to be honest, it's of little importance to the rest of us.
