Rosie O'Donnell Was Not Kicked Off The View

Contrary to rumors, Rosie O'Donnell was most definitely not kicked off her spot on The View. Only days before Rosie made the big announcement about leaving the show, the comedian drew criticism for her behavior at The Matrix Awards. At the annual luncheon of NY Women in Communications, Rosie made a few less than polite remarks to the 2,000 or so guests in attendance. It was that very event which sparked the rumors about a possible firing from the show.

Even though her BFF Donald Trump and a handful of others so desperately wish to believe that she was ousted, that simply isn't the case. Rosie and The View mutually decided not to renew her contract after they were unable to reach a financial agreement. As always, money never seems to be far behind all of the big decisions in tinseltown.

FYI: Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced today that she is three months pregnant with her second child.
