Paris Hilton has been sentenced to serve 45 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation. Paris, 26, was involved in a little DUI incident back in September of last year and the judge suspended her license. In true Paris Hilton form, she ignored the rules, thinking that they don't apply to skinny rich girls, and kept on driving. When cops pulled her over in February, she played dumb and claimed to know nothing of the suspension. When the sentence was handed out on Friday, her attorney said, "To sentence Paris Hilton to jail is uncalled for, inappropriate and ludicrous. She was singled out for who she is. She's been selectively targeted."
Is it so ludicrous for a spoiled celebrity brat to spend 45 measly days behind bars for a crime that she actually committed? If she does end up serving any time, I can only imagine what Paris will tell the other inmates. I think it would go something like this: "If you don't, like hurt me or like make me your 'special friend', my daddy will write each of you big fat checks when I get out of here. Like, do we have a deal or what?"

My Dad was killed, and my brother’s entire family hospitalized by a drunk driver. Paris, and so many others like her, need to understand that there is a very good reason for DUI laws. She also needs to understand that being a “cute” blonde with money doesn’t remove her responsibility to comply with the law. How could she not know her license was suspended? I don’t buy that one either. “Selectively targeted”? No way! In my opinion, she should have gotten worse.
There are laws for a reason, and Paris Hilton, just because she’s a rich spoiled brat, isn’t immune to go to jail for the law she has broken. This is a very serious offence, and she doesn’t need a slap on the wrist and let go, she needs to be treated just as anyone else would be breaking the same law.
She won’t see a day. They will make the “overcrowded” excuse and be let go like Michele Rodriguez from the Lost tv show. There are no laws for the famous. Look at O.J. and Robert Blake and…..

They should have a new jail built just for celebs. They could just sit, drink, drugs, dance etc. locked away and be kept away from society.
throw her ass in jail…why is it that “CELEBS” are above the law…what if she had killed someone innocent? The term she received for jail is a joke! The judge who gave her that sentence should be forced to spend the stupid 23 days in jail with her!!! One less moron is right! I am so sick of listening to poor little rich girl cry baby stories …wooohhh is me i have nothing better to do with my life other then drink and be stupid …god forbid there are staving kids or helpless homeless people they could be helping instead of being public hazards! GIVE ME A BREAK ! Force her to spend a week with my neighbours kids ( 3 and 4 years old ) who lost their parents to a stupid rich girl!

Just because she is a “CELEBERITY” doesn’t mean she should get the special treatment , everyone gets treated like that when they do something wrong.
What makes her so special? I’m just so sick of these celeberities taht think they are too good to be put in jail or be treated like just another person. If you take away the whole celeberity status thing what do you get?

Paris is a really jerk.She does things without thinking….why does she always have to carry her dog around with her maybe thats the problem. Anyway who does that..carrying a dog around thats just so out of style
