Michael Douglas to Revisit Gordon Gekko in Wall Street 2

Actor Michael Douglas is in talks to revisit his Oscar winning role as Gordon Gekko for the movie Wall Street 2, according to The New York Times. The 1987 cult film starring Michael, 62, accurately portrayed an era of wealth, greed, and excess in the corporate sector. The sequel, to be called Money Never Sleeps, promises to do the same for the hedge fund world.

The film also launched the career of Charlie Sheen, who played the role of Gekko's financial understudy, Bud Fox. I wonder how many people actually went on to borrow Gekko's now famous line from the movie that "lunch is for wimps". Rumor has it that Charlie Sheen won't be back to film the sequel, and it just won't be the same without him.
