Amy Fisher and Joey Buttafuoco - Real Relationship?

Are Amy and Joey getting back together? Ex-cons Amy Fisher and Joey Buttafuoco are clearly pretending to have a real relationship for their own financial gain. Are we seriously expected to believe that these two are actually an item? Days after their highly publicized and super fake NYC date, Joey was seen vacationing in Palm Springs with his wife Evanka. The same wife that he allegedly separated from last week to be with his true love, Amy.

Wondering what's going on here? Allow me to break it all down for you. In the early 90's, Amy the teenager slept with Joey the sleazy mechanic. Unwilling to share the love, Amy decided to shoot Joey's wife in the head and spent lots of time in jail. Fast forward and they both marry other people and go on to have semi-normal lives.

The Long Island Lolita and Joey have now been shopping around their reality show idea with very little success. Some idiot marketing person probably came up with the brilliant plan to create drama and thereby generate instant interest in the show. With their respective spouses "playing along", they were hoping that the scandal might entice a buyer. If the silly idea sells, everyone comes out a little bit richer. Maybe, but how gullible do they think the public really is?
