Pete Doherty Wants to Marry Kate Moss

Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty, 28, and supermodel Kate Moss, 33, just might be getting married this summer, reports People magazine. According to a published excerpt from his diaries, Pete will only tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend if he can stay away from cocaine and heroin. I'm all for making a comeback, but judging by his long history with drug abuse, this will be no small undertaking for Pete.

"I now surrender to the science of detoxification. Once more in my love's loving arms. We have been close this time that passed and with the smack and needle free we shall marry in the summer and I become ten times happier than any given smackhead," he writes in the diary that he kept during detox at a hospital in January. My suggestion to Pete after reading the strange excerpt? Don't quit your day job to write poetry.
