Usher and Tameka Foster Cancel the Wedding

Usher and Tameka Foster were all set to host a "surprise" wedding for 100 or so friends this past Saturday, but that never came to be. Instead, the coupled shocked everyone by canceling the wedding at the very last second. Usher and his future wife/baby mama were said to be arguing in the days leading up to the ceremony and eventually just decided to blow it off, according to the NY Daily News. The paper suggests that perhaps the union fell through when Usher came across some of the ugly skeletons in Tameka's closet. Could it be her ex-con past, complete with a drug dealing boyfriend? Or perhaps it was the fact that she was less than keen on the idea of a pre-nup. Most people think it has everything to do with the much discussed feud between Tameka and Usher's mom, Jonetta Patton.
The burning question in everyone's mind is whether or not Usher and Tameka are even together anymore. I imagine we'll have our answer to that one soon enough.

Usher please listen to your mother and let this girl go. She is much to old for you or old looking and is looking for something other than your love.

usher I must say that you did the best thing by breaking the wedding because girlfriend or wife can come and go but mother is forever. I am very happy for you usher.
Usher, I don’t know if you look at comments from your fans on websites like these, but if you and Miss Foster were in fact fighting before your wedding, doen’t you think it would be pretty serious? I mean, I know what fighting is all about, even if I am only 16. For real!
Me and my Ex broke up 15 months ago, and you know how he did it? He said to his friend Scott: “It sucks to fall out of love, huh, Scott?” That’s how he said it to me. Well, anyway, he strung me on for a year after that, and we really scrapped things out. All I’m saying is please be carefull, because you may think that she’s all pretty and nice, and I’m not saying anything against your judgment or anything, but your really have to watch yourself. Just please really consider some things:
1. She is the mother of three children from her previous dealings with men (through having been a wife or otherwise, I don’t know) and is about to have a fourth (supposedly from you). Do you really want this responsibility put on you yet?
2. It seems that you were fighting a lot before your run-away wedding, and although I don’t know what it was all about, the media seems to think it a big deal, though–the media does tend to blow things out of proportion quite a lot.
3. Your mother doesn’t seem to like her, and although you seem to wish to wed this Miss Foster, wouldn’t you want to settle family relations first?
I’m not saying that what you’re doing is wrong, I’m just encouraging you to look at the obvious. Well, Usher, if it’s absolutely what you want, then go ahead and do it and to hell with what everyone else is saying, even me. I sincerely hope you have a happy life together, and that your children don’t get too annoyed that they have a famous superstar for a father, hahaha.
