Mariah Carey Interview - She Needs Her Beauty Sleep

In a recent piece for the September issue of Interview magazine, singer/wannabe actress Mariah Carey talked about her new album and how she requires more sleep than a newborn baby to function properly. "It's a fun record - it's been my obsession. Yes, sometimes it's tough because I've got to sleep 15 hours to sing the way I want to. It's not easy because my vocal chords are different than most people's," she said.
Different in what way exactly Mimi? Gee, I wonder how mega-stars like Madonna and Gwen Stefani manage to sing so well despite the lack of sleep that comes with motherhood. With Mariah's 'unstable' mental history, it's unlikely that she'll be venturing down the baby road anytime soon. She should stick to what she knows best - being a high maintenance diva.

DRB - I totally agree, Gwen & Madonna don’t/can’t sing! Mariah is one of the best singers ever, and if she needs sleep to perform well then who is some journalist to judge? If she performed after not having enough sleep and wasn’t note-perfect, then she’d be being dissed aswell.
I can’t stand all this mindless bitching on someone who really couldn’t give a flying fook what people think of her.
