Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt Survive a Brush Fire

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have managed to survive a brush fire at their LA-area home this weekend, according to People. I find it interesting that the Hills stars conveniently had a chat scheduled with Ryan Seacrest on his FM morning show the very next day.

"Spencer was down there with the garden hose and I was like, oh, what have our lives come to," Heidi whined. In true Heidi and Spencer form, they milked the story for as much sympathy as humanly possible. Wait, did I say sympathy? I meant to say publicity.
