Guitarist Carlos Santana and His Wife to Divorce

Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana and his wife Deborah have officially filed for divorce after 34 years and three children together, according to court papers obtained by TMZ. Divorce papers filed last month cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for the demise of their marriage. Various infidelity rumors have followed Carlos in the past and he didn't exactly do much to deny them. Whatever the reason may be, it's always sad to see such a long relationship come to an end. Let's be honest, 34 years in Hollywood is equivalent to 75 out in the real world.

Deborah comes off as a real martyr victim. First, she rides on Carlos’ fame to get her book published, only to write a revengeful expose to position Carlos as the bad guy, herself as the saint who can do no wrong. Infidelity is a two way street, and she played her role you can be sure. Next comes parental alienation with the kids which she has already planted the seeds. Now that she got her book published, she doesn’t need Carlos anymore, now she is just going for book sales which she obviously had planned all along. Oh, isn’t it ironic she waited to file until after his new album was released? Obviously, humiliating him publicly wasn’t enough, she wants to make sure she sucks him dry of all his financial successes. She talks of integrity and maintaining family privacy, obviously only if it involves her sake. Good riddance, Carlos deserves better!
