How much will Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron be getting paid for High School Musical 3? Rumors have been swirling that Vanessa Hudgens might not even return to play Gabriella. Even after Vanessa's nude photo scandal that rocked the gossip world, it looks like she'll be back. According to In Touch, Vanessa and her "boyfriend" Zac are scheduled to reprise their roles. Not only that, but they'll be well compensated. Sources tell the magazine that Zac is on track to make $3.2 million for the sequel, while Vanessa will only rake in $1.75 million. Is she paying the price for her recent indiscretions or is this just another case of men earning more than women for no good reason at all?

I don’t think it’s a case of men making more than women for no real reason. I think Zac’s success in Hairspray and the potential success of his upcoming film with Matthew Perry has given him more legitimacy as a Hollywood actor, not just a Disney actor, making him more in-demand and thus better paid.
