Denise Richards' beloved mother, Joni has died after a long and painful battle with kidney cancer, according to People. Denise's mother, Joni, died in Los Angeles on Friday, her rep told the magazine. She also said that Joni was surrounded by her family when she passed away.

Let's just say that Denise hasn't exactly had it easy for the last year or so. Denise has been caring for her sick mom, raising two young daughters, and battling it out in divorce court with Charlie Sheen (who recently became engaged). Denise was also scheduled to appear as a guest co-host on The View next week, but has decided to reschedule.
