Entertainment Weekly's 50 Smartest People in Hollywood

Entertainment Weekly released its list of the 50 Smartest People in Hollywood for 2007 and some of it might surprise you. In the last spot is Ben Affleck while writer/producer Judd Apatow takes first place. Among the celebrities on the list were Sacha Baron Cohen at 34, Angelina Jolie at 33, Johnny Depp at 21, and George Clooney at 13.

Will Smith took the fifth slot because he "demonstrated surprising versatility and a knack for picking blockbusters," according to EW. Wondering which folks were probably never in the running for the coveted spots? I'd go with Britney Spears, Kevin Federline, Lindsay Lohan, and maybe Paris Hilton for starters.
