Eva Longoria and Jessica Simpson - Celebrity Catfight?

Did actress Eva Longoria and singer/designer Jessica Simpson get involved in a celebrity catfight? Page Six is reporting that Jessica Simpson was less than pleased to hear about her good friend Eva Longoria spending time with John Mayer the other night. Was she upset because Eva was getting romantic with one of Jessica's ex-boyfriends? Not exactly. Apparently, Jess was peeved that her so-called pal was making nice with the singer. "Eva was being friendly and polite to John, she called her a back-stabber and was furious," according to an insider at Page Six. Faster than these gals could have even retracted their claws, Jessica's rep chimed in that all is well between her and Eva. If she knows what's good for her, Eva will steer clear of Nick Lachey until further notice.

I would hope that Eva steers clear of Nick Lachey! Not only is Eva a married woman, to Tony Parker, but Nick is quite happy with Vanessa Minnillio. I think Vanessa would have a thing or two to say if Eva started barking up the wrong tree… Eva’s not a slut! She’s allowed to talk to John Mayer for goodness sake! Just b/c Jessica is jealous about that, that’s her own issues, but it doesn’t constitute cheating when a married woman talks to a single guy!
