Is a Sex and the City Movie Sequel Already in the Works?

Page Six is reporting that a Sex and the City movie sequel may already be in the works. New Line Cinema and HBO just might turn this wildly popular TV series into a powerhouse of profitable movies. The very first movie is officially wrapped and ready for a May 2008 release in theaters everywhere.

Being a native New Yorker myself, this movie is right up my alley. Just this summer, I walked past the Sex and the City film crews on many an occasion and resisted the burning urge to peek. I can't wait to find out if Carrie and Mister Big manage to make it down the aisle or not. With both of their dysfunctional romantic histories, I won't be holding my breath.
