Former O.C. star Rachel Bilson spoke to Playboy (how ironic) about her refusal to appear nude on film. Rachel, 26, even revealed that she almost turned down the chance to appear with Zach Braff in The Last Kiss because she wouldn't do any nude scenes with him. "Movies can be sexy or sexual without showing things. It's almost a deal breaker. They like to put in nudity wherever they can, but I'm pretty strong willed and believe it can be avoided," she told the magazine.
Did she take a cue from Brad Pitt? Back in November, hearts broke around the world when he declared that his days of baring it all on film were over. I wonder how many hearts will break over Rachel's big announcement.

I enjoy looking at beautiful,talented, naked women as much as the next guy, but I’m also the father of two daughters and I admire this young woman’s position on not “selling herself” in the wrong way or for the wrong reason. I think it’s refreshing to hear about a member of her generation who values herself and isn’t willing to pander to the sensationalist nonsense which sometimes is force-fed to us as “entertainment”. I’m a fan of this young actor and look forward to seeing her in many productions for a long time– dressed or otherwise… One more thing: Bertolucci directed another young actress in a film called “Stealing Beauty” some years ago. She, like Rachel, was and is beautiful. While there was some partial nudity in the movie, by far the most erotic scene, in this or any othe movie, in my opinion, was a “first love” scene toward the end in which both actors were, for the most part fully clothed. It defines both erotic love and first love with as much sensitivity and passion as any scene of it’s type I can remember. Rachel’s scene with Zach Braff was equally well done.
