American Idol to Host Another Charity Event

The 2007 charity show, Idol Gives Back, raised over $75 million for charities benefiting children. Simon Cowell and the producers of American Idol were so pleased with the first try that they've decided to host a second charity event on April 9. This year's star studded gala, including Brad Pitt and Miley Cyrus, could potentially hit the $100 million mark.

Other big time celebrities on tap to make appearances are Mariah Carey, Bono, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Reese Witherspoon, Snoop Dogg, Annie Lennox, and Fergie, according to recent AP Reports. More names to be announced as they are released.
