Simon Cowell Clearly Loves the Paparazzi
In a recent interview with Parade, Simon Cowell, 48, offered up his two cents on the whole notion of celebrities in the spotlight. If I'm not mistaken, it almost sounds like the American Idol judge might be siding with the paparazzi. "We live right now in what I consider to be a fame epidemic. I have zero problems being well known. Couldn't care less if someone wants to take my picture. Anyone who complains about invasion of privacy shouldn't work in the entertainment business. Trust me. When the picture taking stops, they’re going to be more unhappy,” he told Parade.com.
As much as I generally tend to disagree with the ever cranky and negative Simon, he makes a very good point. Stars like Paris Hilton are always whining about the gossip permeating through the media, yet where would their careers be without us?
