Another One Bites the Dust on American Idol

Another hopeful bit the dust on American Idol last night in front of friends, family, and just a few million other folks. Consider this your spoiler alert and stop right here if you were planning to catch the show on TIVO later tonight.

And if you are, I seriously hope you have a pair of those Bose soundproof headphones. How else do you plan on walking down any street in the country without accidentally hearing the results?

In a not so shocking moment, Syesha Mercado's dreams were shattered when she was booted off the show courtesy of Simon Cowell and his sidekicks. Okay, more like "fired" as my obsessed friend Josh likes to say. That means David Archuleta will be up against David Cook in the season finale and I honestly think it could go either way.
