Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Friars Foundation Annual International Gala at Cipriani in NYC. The foundation paid tribute to legendary performer Frankie Valli and Red Apple Chairman and CEO John Catsimatidis. The event was nothing short of fabulous and raised millions for the Adopt-a-Scholar Program. Steve Tyrell, Julie Budd, Norm Crosby, Tony Orlando, and Joe Piscopo all contributed with stellar performances. Naturally, this lineup had my mother simply green with envy. One of the highlights of the night would have to be hearing the cast of The Jersey Boys take the stage to belt out some of Frankie's greatest hits.
For his six decades of success, Frankie was given the distinguished Creative Achievement Award. Not surprisingly, his recently released album titled Romancing the '60s is quickly becoming another fan favorite. Just when most performers of his caliber might be taking a break, the Jersey native remains at the top of his game and shows no signs of stopping.

6 decades?? I didn’t even know that he was that old. Is that even possible? He is such a talented singer. Best of luck to him with the new CD.
