Is Paula Abdul's Ex J.T. Torregiani the Next Bachelor?

Is Paula Abdul's ex-boyfriend J.T. Torregiani really on tap to be the next Bachelor? Rumor has it that J.T. Torregiani is being considered by ABC to star in the next season of The Bachelor. Paula, 45, and J.T., 33, began dating in April 2007 and by October, they were shacking up. The romance ended a month ago and the nightclub owner is ready to get back in the game.

Apparently, J.T. was approached last year about doing the show, but politely declined because he was dating the wacky American Idol judge. Will he change his tune this time around? More importantly, do the producers really feel that he has what it takes to draw in the viewers?
