Ethan Hawke Beats Uma Thurman to the Altar

Ethan Hawke made it official and married his very pregnant girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes. Could this have anything to do with the fact that his ex-wife and mother of his two children, Uma Thurman, just got engaged herself? If Ethan, 37, was hoping to beat Uma, 38, to the altar, he did a good job of it.

Perhaps the rush to tie the knot has to do with the fact that Ryan is expecting the couple's first child. His new bride was also the former nanny to Ethan and Uma's two children, Maya, 10, and Levon, 6. That was before she became extra friendly with their father, of course. Or was it simultaneous?
