Download Free Sheryl Crow Music and Rock the Vote
Sheryl Crow intends to give away free music to get people to rock the vote this year. The Grammy Award-winning breast cancer survivor will give a FREE digital copy of her album Detours to the first 50,000 people who take the initiative to register three friends to vote, according to CNN. Also, fans on the Rock the Vote mailing list can download the track "Gasoline" at no charge. "It's about the issues that everyone's talking about, but there's a lot of hope. At this moment in my life, writing about anything else would be uninteresting and impossible because I feel such urgency," she said.
Sheryl, 46, was one of the first people in the music industry to help the cause 18 years ago. The current Rock the Vote campaign has a lofty goal of registering 2 million young people to vote by election time in November.
