Celebrities Come Out to Kick Off the 2008 US Open Players Party

US Open season is officially upon us and that can only mean one thing--lots of parties! I was lucky enough to get an invite to the exclusive USTA & Heineken Premium Light Players Party in NYC this weekend and it was a blast. Not only were all the major tennis players like Maria Sharapova there, but I even saw David Dinkins and Jesse Palmer. The hosts for the evening were James Blake, Venus Williams, and her sister Serena. The party took place on the roof of the legendary Empire Hotel in NYC with music by DJ Cassidy and beverages by Heineken, of course. The guest list for the night read more like a movie premiere than a sports themed event. Who knew that the tennis players had so many celebrity fans?
On the red carpet and at the after party, I spotted Henrik Lundqvist, Becki Newton, Whitney Port, Daniel Sunjata, Matthew Settle, Gerard Butler, Lindsay Price, Fabolous, Bradley Cooper, and more. Did I mention how personable (and coincidentally sexy) Bradley Cooper is in person? I think he's officially my new celebrity crush.
