Did Angelina Jolie Have a Tummy Tuck?

Rumor has it that Angelina Jolie may have taken a little shortcut to skinny town with a tummy tuck following the July birth of her twins with Brad Pitt, Knox and Vivienne. This week, Angelina, 33, was spotted around NYC all glammed up and eager to promote her new blockbuster film, Changeling. I must admit that she looked slimmer than ever in that fitted strapless black Versace dress. The celebrity gossip mills are now saying that the mother of six may have treated herself to some plastic surgery. Could it be true? Only the doctors know for sure on this one.

I highly doubt Angelina Jolie had plastic surgery at her age. Isn’t she about 31? I think from her breast-feeding (which contracts the uterus, thus not only making the tummy flat, but also helps in the process of losing weight. Also, running after 6 kids must really take a lot of her. I heard that Brad and Angie are really hands-on parents, so nannies are few and far between!
Of course she had a tummy tuck! Have you ever looked closely at the stomach of a woman who gave birth to a child the same year? Let alone one who gave birth to twins, stretching the abdominal muscles even further?
Here is the reality: pregnancy stretches a paired muscle that runs vertically from the pubic to torso region. These muscles are separated by a connective tissue that is stretched in pregnancy.
It does not return to former size, and therefore, the paired abdominal muscles are never pulled tight again. That is why all mothers have a protruding belly that won’t disappear, no matter how many crunches are piled on top the aerobic workouts!
TUMMY TUCK, or abdominoplasty, pulls the two paired rectus abdominus muscles back together. It also removes the sagging stretched skin, pulling down skin from the torso to create a new, smooth tummy (with new doctor made belly button to replace the post-pregnancy stretched belly button).
After birthing twins, there is absolutely NO WAY Angelina could have worn that skin tight dress UNLESS she had the abdominoplasty! Her abdominals were absolutely, totally flat … and that is humanly impossible for someone who just delivered a few months back!
