Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's Book Signing Rules

Mini moguls Mary-Kate Olsen and her sister Ashley made an appearance yesterday at the Union Square NY Barnes & Noble and thousands of fans quickly lined up to meet them. The twins were there to promote and sign copies of their book titled Influence but that's about all they were prepared to do.

The writers over at Racked.com posted a detailed note letting fans know what to expect at the signing. The rules stated, "Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen will only be signing copies of their book. They will not be speaking, reading or taking questions. They will not sign any memorabilia or product other than Influence and there is no photography allowed. You must put away your camera or cellphone before approaching the signing table."

As if that whole situation wasn't stressful enough, having PETA perched outside the bookstore donning MK and Ashley masks only added to the overall chaos.
