Score a Reproduction of the Sex and the City Wedding Dress
We imagine there isn't a woman out there who didn't leave the movie theater after having seen Sex and the City coveting some of the fashion on screen. Remember those gorgeous blue satin Manolo Blahniks? Undoubtedly, the most memorable item of clothing would have to be that over the top Vivienne Westwood wedding dress that Carrie wore in her first attempt to tie the knot with Big. Now a handful of extremely lucky brides in the New York City area can score their own version of the dress. Gabriella Risatti, owner of Gabriella New York bridal salon in downtown Manhattan is making a limited number of reproductions of the infamous gown.
On Wednesday and Thursday of this week only, for $15,000, you can look like you belong in SATC. "We are taking measurements those two days, but only 30 dresses will be made," the designer said. Ladies in Los Angeles had better get on the phone with their travel agents.

The Vivienne Westwood dress is pretty, but not everyone wants something that fancy that can only be worn to a big circus wedding (the movie shows us how well those turn out!). I would rather score the wedding dress she wore in the end of the movie. Why not more info and exposure for vintage and informal gowns?
