Eddie Murphy Ordered to Pay Child Support

Former Spice Girl and Dancing With the Stars hopeful Melanie Brown, 33, is about to have some serious cash coming her way. A court has ordered her ex, Eddie Murphy, to pay $51,000 a month in child support, according to the UK Daily Mail. Mind you, the checks are technically intended for her daughter, but diapers aren't that expensive, are they?

Even though he repeatedly tried to deny it, Eddie, 47, definitely fathered 22-month-old Iris Angel and now he's obligated to finance her needs until she turns 18. Do the math and you'll find the total figure to be somewhere in the ballpark of $10 million. Melanie also has a nine-year-old daughter Phoenix Chi from her first marriage to Jimmy Gulzar.
