Ever wished that you could own one of those fancy couture handbags spotted on the hottest celebrities? Better yet, what if you could buy one of the actual bags personally carried by those very stars? Tomorrow just might be your lucky day if you're willing to be charitable about it. The Lupus Foundation is hosting an auction and luncheon on Tuesday April 21 at The Metropolitan Club in NYC from 11:30 - 2:00. This fabulous event will feature a silent auction of designer and celebrity handbags donated by Jennifer Garner, Lindsay Price, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Lucy Liu, and Kelly Rutherford. Designers participating include Chanel, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, and Fendi.
TV host Meredith Vieira will be given the S.L.E. Lupus Foundation "Woman of Achievement" Award. Tickets are still available at LupusNY.org with the proceeds going to fight the disease.
