Is Paula Abdul Leaving American Idol?

Just when you thought American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi might be stepping down from her post, we have more gossip to report. Rumor has it that Paula Abdul might not be returning to the wildly popular show next season. On Thursday night, Paula Abdul told David Letterman that there was a chance she might not be back. She told Dave, "I never said [I wasn't returning]. I just said that I'm not sure. It's called, um, negotiating." Could this be nothing more than another publicity stunt? I don't know, but it sounds to me like Paula is holding out for more money. Is she even worth the bigger paycheck?

She CAN’T leave! It’s Simon, Paula and Randy. I’m not saying I hate Kara, but Paula MUST BE THERE. No matter what. Maybe she’s negotiating for some more vacation time. What else does she do besides Idol and pumping up her song she did on a.i. “I’m Just Here for the Music.” She had another song before Dance Like there’s no Tomorrow.” I hope she just wants some time off and Kara will fill in while she takes time off absence or something
I saw that David Letterman show she did on youtube. she was laughing and kidding around with david. she didn’t have anything bad to say about anyone. i guess she wouldn’t be allowed to, though. still think it’s STUPID for her to not be on a.i. her randy, paul, and ryan MAKE that show. i love the singers and everything but i love watching them all. especially paula and simon!
I’ll believe that rumor when it’s a confirmed fact. If Paula said that I’d believe it, but she didn’t outright say that. Paula Abdul not on am. idol? That is so totally unbelievable in itself! American Idol wouldn’t be a show any more without the favorite judges panel of the entire United States. Paula is my fave can u tell? Still, she is one of the judges and that’s that. Helloooooooooooooooo!
PLZ PLZ PLZ DONT LET PAULA LEAVE!!! she cant, for one her and simon had a plan that they would always leave idol together and he cant leave this year anyway coz hes signed for another year and two, nobody will watch if paula isnt there!!!
uh no. Paula can’t leave Idol…. I don’t think I’d watch it anymore. The relationship between Paula and Simon is one of the best things about the show and with out Paula, there would be no relationship.
