Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo Call it Quits

Something tells me that singer Jessica Simpson is probably regretting that interview right about now. You know, the one where she waxes poetic about Tony Romo and even refers to him coyly as her future husband? Sources tell People that the night before Jessica's 29th birthday, Tony decided it was the right time to end their relationship. "She is heartbroken. She loves Tony. But it's been difficult lately. He's busy with his career and she's getting ready to shoot her show. They decided to part ways. They were good together for along time. But I guess it wasn't meant to be," the source told the magazine.
Let's all try and look on the bright side because it really could be worse. Tony could have dumped her via text message like our good pal Chace Crawford did when he decided that he was over Carrie Underwood.

I heard that Tony Romo broke up with Jessica Simpson the day before her birthday.. Not great timing, Tony! I think instead of calling him Tony Romo, his name should be Tony Romeo, b/c that’s what he is, or thinks he is! Was Jessica not good enough for you? What about Carrie Underwood? Are you planning on romancing her again? Geesh, I just can’t keep up w/ all of his ladies!
