After a year of blissful dating, Ghost Whisperer stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy have decided to break up. Before you jump to conclusions and assume that someone cheated, that doesn't appear to be the case here. A source close to the couple wanted to set the record straight. "It wasn't contentious. It had kind of just run its course," the source told People.
Could busy work schedules have played a part in Jennifer and Jamie's sudden split? "She's working constantly, and Jamie's working on the show and touring. It just isn't conducive to a relationship, the source added."
I'm sorry, but I just don't buy that. We all work (well, ok, maybe not Paris Hilton) and we all still somehow manage to maintain lives outside of our careers, right?

Although I hate to see any good relationship end, I have to say that I thought this relationship adversely affected the Ghost Whisperer series. The obvious favoritism of Kennedy on the show was overshadowing the relationship between Jim and Melinda. Maybe now their marriage and love story will be believable again.
He was trash anyway and getting rid of her “real” husband on “Ghostwhisper” was a big mistake.
