Former Golden Girls star and Emmy award winner Rue McClanahan has died at the age of 76. She suffered a massive stroke and her family was there by her side when she passed away on Thursday, according to E! Online. Rue began her acting career at the age of 30 and was best known for playing the saucy character, Blanche Devereaux, on Golden Girls.

With Estelle Getty's death in 2008 and Bea Arthur's passing in 2009, Betty White is now the last remaining star of the hit show that made them all so famous.
