Actress Lindsay Lohan Checks Into Rehab

Lindsay Lohan has checked herself into rehab, according to a statement made by the actress yesterday. "I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time," Lohan said.Filming on her upcoming thriller I Know Who Killed Me has been on hold since Lindsay entered the hospital with appendicitis and will remain that way indefinitely. Lindsay has recently admitted that she has been a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over a year. That's a great concept, if she was actually going to the meetings and not just carrying around the coin. Let's just hope that her stint in rehab works this time. My advice to Lindsay? Stay far away from party girl Paris Hilton.

was her rehab for alcohol…or ‘other reasons?’
Shooting was not put on hold, she will be allowed to leave during the day to film and return to the facility in the evening and on the weekends. Also this is her first inpatient treatment, and she should be commended. I am a memeber of AA, and you have no place judging something you obviously know nothing about. Get your facts straight before you go running your mouth.
I am also in AA and it’s sad but true, but I heard that Lindsey was not really attending the meetings as she was supposed to.
She probably had the coin out in public in the pictures to get sympathy from fans even though she was still partying HARD and drinking.
And I agree with the advice to her to avoid Paris hilton! She is nothing but trouble!!!
