Actor Owen Wilson Taken to the Hospital for Possible Suicide Attempt

According to reports from the National Enquirer, Owen Wilson was taken to the hospital yesterday under suspicion of a possible suicide attempt. Police responded to a 911 call at noon that Owen had allegedly slashed his left wrist and taken a ton of pills. The actor was quickly brought to St. John’s hospital in Santa Monica by ambulance. In hearing the news, I can't help but wonder if this could possibly have anything to do with the demise of his recent romance with Kate Hudson. I certainly hope not as she is currently wasting her time hooking up with Dax Shepard and I'm pretty sure that Owen can do better.

I was very surprised to hear of Owen Wilson’s possible suicide attempt. What a waste that would have been if he succeeded in killing himself! He is such a gifted and talented actor. I wonder however, if this suicide attempt had anything to do with Kate Hudson. They weren’t together long, however, in pictures and in news clips, Owen looked way more into Kate than she did to him. I hope he seeks the help he so desperately needs and gets better soon!
No no, that wasn’t Owen Wilson it was his brother Luke’s character in The Royal Tenenbaums!

I doubt an adult with a career like Wilson’s would try to kill himself over a relationship. Suicide usually involves more complex issues than a breakup.
Not that I regularly believe anything the National Enquirer has to say, but should this story be true, I do hope he recovers quickly from his injuries and receives the help he needs to overcome the depression that would have brought this on. I agree, he is an amazing actor and it would be a sad day that the movie industry lost him. Get well soon, Owen.. my thoughts and prayers are with you.
It would be a shame to lose such a talent as yourself. I truly hope you look deep inside yourself, god gave you a gift. Dont throw that away,look at what you give to people,with your laughter.Sometimes it is hard to be strong. But waking up every morning knowing if its not right today, you always HAVE TOMMORROW !
