It's certainly no secret that singer Taylor Swift loves to write music that clearly reflects the events of her own life. We've seen her wax poetic about one relationship after another. Often, Taylor will use her music to discuss but also effectively bash the guy for whatever went wrong between them. Her song titled "Back to December" off the Speak Now album seems to have taken a very different turn.
In the track, Taylor speaks with regret and even a little longing. At the time, she was dating Taylor Lautner and he helped her through a rough period. That difficult time followed a public humiliation at the hands of Kanye West when he ruined her 2009 VMA moment on stage. Check out the lyrics and see what you think:
"I miss your tan skin, your sweet smile, so good to me, so right. And how you held me in your arms that September night, the first time you ever saw me cry. maybe this is wishful thinking, probably mindless dreaming, if we loved again, I swear I'd love you right."
Is the young singer yearning to get back together with the one that got away and could Taylor Lautner be that very guy?
