She credits the religion with being, "the source of answers and resolution for every conceivable problem, upset, fear or obstacle." Kirstie also said that she highly recommends the teachings because without it, she would be dead.

Actress Catherine Bell told Howard Stern in an interview that she has become a better and more confident actress because of Scientology. In 2003, Catherine volunteered her time alongside Tom Cruise on the charity program HELP (Hollywood Education Literacy Project) which many believe stems from the teachings of Scientology.
